Tesla Hints at Tesla Pick Up

Tesla CEO Elon Musk hinted Sunday in a tweet that a "special upgrade package" of the company's new Roadster supercar could enable it to briefly fly short hops.

And it won't be just another run of the mill ute.

He talked up the "revolutionary possibilities" of merging the two technologies.

Of course, Musk did recognize that the notion of a flying car has some practical challenges, things that are largely beyond the control of the company, or technology for that matter.
